Traditionally the 30 Women Royal Rumble Match has seen a large amount of legends from yesteryear take part, with this year being no different albeit slightly less so than previous year’s matches.
While the 2023 edition saw less reliance on the past, there was still room for Michelle McCool who has been a Rumble stalwart since the debut iteration in 2018.
And now current Raw star Dana Brooke has spoken of her interaction with McCool at the Rumble and the important lessons she picked up from the former four-time women’s champion.
While Brooke didn’t actually interact with McCool in the ring, she told Fightful of her interaction with both McCool and her husband WWE Hall of Famer The Undertaker.
She explained:
“It was awesome working with her, getting to know her, and also talking with Undertaker a lot backstage, too, because I was with her putting things together and talking through everything.
“It’s amazing to work with her and knowing what she has, and the knowledge she brings to the table was awesome.”
Brooke hasn’t been seen on Raw since November, but has been regularly working the pre-Raw Main Event tapings, often with NXT talent.
