An eight-man interpromotional match has been announced for IMPACT Wrestling x NJPW Multiverse United event.
As previously reported, the IMPACT World Tag Team Championship match has been added to the lineup for the upcoming IMPACT Wrestling x NJPW Multiverse United – Only The Strong Survive show.
IMPACT Wrestling has announced yet another major bout for the upcoming event as NJPW and IMPACT stars will team up in an eight-man tag team match.
IMPACT Wrestling’s Callihan and PCO will team with NJPW Strong’s Fred Rosser and Alex Coughlin to face the team of New Japan’s Tom Lawlor and JR Kratos of Team Filthy as well as IMPACT Digital Media Champion Joe Hendry and former IMPACT World Champion Eddie Edwards.
This matchup features a few ongoing feuds at play with PCO and Edwards in a fierce rivalry in IMPACT Wrestling, while Coughlin and Kratos have feuded for well over a year on NJPW Strong. Also, Callihan has had a long storied rivalry with Eddie Edwards as well.
Already announced for the show is Josh Alexander vs. KUSHIDA for the IMPACT World Title in the main event.
Also, Will Ospreay vs. Speedball Mike Bailey, Moose vs. Jeff Cobb, KENTA vs. Minoru Suzuki and a six-way scramble for the X-Division Championship.
