With Tony Khan set to make an ‘important announcement’ on tonight’s (April 5) episode of AEW Dynamite, there has been a lot of speculation in the AEW locker room about what the announcement could be.
One of the popular speculations is that it will be the rumoured Saturday night AEW show, believed to be named AEW Collision.
Per Fightful Select (subscription required), one of the rumours speculated backstage is that of the Saturday show, and that Fightful has ‘long heard’ chatter that there could be some ‘roster parity’ with the show.
It wasn’t specified if this would be a full on brand split, or simply some stars that would be exclusive to the Saturday show.
The report says that Fightful haven’t heard what something like that would do to AEW Rampage, or the ROH show, but it is something they have definitely heard discussed.
