Former AEW star Danny Limelight has found himself with a new role in Hollywood.
The former MLW and AEW star took to Twitter today to announce his role in the upcoming series from Wolf Entertainment.
The show will also feature Trion Bellisario (Pretty Little Liars) and Brandon Larracuente (The Good Doctor).
The synopsis for the series is as followed:
On Call is an adrenalized half-hour series following Traci Harmon, a veteran female training officer (Belisario), and her rookie male ride-along, Alex Diaz (Larracuente), as they navigate the loss of a fellow officer and politics of modern-day policing — in the department and on the streets of Long Beach.
Danny Limelight was a staple of AEW Dark and Dark: Elevation during his time with the company, with him recently saying that he ‘takes blame’ for his departure.
It was officially revealed earlier this week that both AEW Dark and Dark: Elevation will be coming to an end.
Andrew Zarian of the Wrestling Observer reported the reason for that being that AEW has agreed all its wrestling content will air on WBD as part of a new agreement for the upcoming Saturday night Collision show.
The card for next week’s edition of AEW Dynamite is as follows:
No Holds Barred – Julia Hart vs. Anna Jay
Open House Rules match for the AEW Trios Championship – House of Black (c) vs. Bandido & Best Friends
AEW International Championship – Orange Cassidy (c) vs. Daniel Garcia
Double Jeopardy Match – Claudio Castagnoli vs. Rey Fenix
Steel Cage Match – Kenny Omega vs. Jon Moxley
Papi is coming to Amazon Prime Video
