Tonight’s (May 8) WWE Raw show has a lot of intrigue heading into it.
The show, which serves as the first show following this week’s Backlash event in Puerto Rico, will be the first show with the rosters formed in the WWE Draft in effect.
The show will also feature the beginning of the tournament to crown the new World Heavyweight Champion, with Cody Rhodes, Finn Balor, The Miz, Seth Rollins, Shinsuke Nakamura and Damian Priest set for two Triple Threat matches on the night.
Cody will compete in the tournament following his victory over Brock Lesnar at Backlash, and it seems as though Cody won’t be the only one in Jacksonville for the show.
Per PWInsider Elite (via Wrestling Inc.), Lesnar is set to be at tonight’s Raw show in Jacksonville, Florida.
PWInsider reported earlier today that Lesnar would not be a part of this week’s TV tapings, but things have since changed, and Lesnar is in Jacksonville for tonight’s show.
There has already been a report on another big return planned for Raw, which you can read about at this link.

Raw Women’s Championship – Bianca Belair (c) def. IYO SKY

SmackDown Women’s Championship – Rhea Ripley (c) def. Zelina Vega
