WWE is set to hold it’s Night of Champions premium live event in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia this weekend, which will feature an advertised ‘triple main event’.
After the show, the build begins to Money In The Bank in London on July 1, with qualifiers for the matches set to begin on next week’s (May 29) episode of Raw.
There have been a lot of names speculated as potential participants for the match, and we may now know one major name who could be a part of the match.
Per WRKD Wrestling, Cody Rhodes is ‘expected’ to return to the Money In The Bank Ladder match at this year’s event.
As noted by WRKD Wrestling in the tweet, this will not be Cody’s first outing in a Money In The Bank Ladder match, with him once being considered to win the match back in 2013, before coming up short to Damien Sandow.
Cody will face off with Brock Lesnar at Night of Champions this weekend.
The card for WWE Night of Champions 2023 on Saturday, May 27 is as follows:
World Heavyweight Championship – Seth ‘Freakin’ Rollins vs. AJ Styles
Undisputed WWE Tag Team Championship – Kevin Owens & Sami Zayn (c) vs. Roman Reigns & Solo Sikoa
Raw Women’s Championship – Bianca Belair (c) vs. Asuka
SmackDown Women’s Championship – Rhea Ripley (c) vs. Natalya
Intercontinental Championship – Gunther (c) vs. Mustafa Ali
Cody Rhodes vs. Brock Lesnar
