What WWE Stars Thought About Shane McMahon Backstage Revealed WWE

A new interview has revealed what WWE stars actually thought about Shane McMahon backstage.

Over the past year and a half, Shane McMahon’s reputation has taken a hit thanks to various reports of his booking of the Royal Rumble 2022 causing chaos backstage.

McMahon returned to WWE at WrestleMania 39 in a match against The Miz where he suffered an injury in the opening minute.

On the latest episode of The Wrestling Time Machine, WWE Hall of Famer Teddy Long was asked about what WWE star back in the day truly thought about Shane McMahon. He answered:

“It was never like that. You got to understand one thing – this is the boss’ son, one. And the other thing is that Shane McMahon worked his butt off, I’m telling you.”

“He got in there, he took bumps, got injuries, and everything. Backstage, he was one of the boys. Great to hang out with, and he just had fun. I don’t think anybody had a problem with Shane. He knew how to present himself to everybody, so they all liked him.”

As previously reported, an update has been provided on Shane O Mac’s injury following WrestleMania 39.
