KENTA has responded to an alternate dream match for CM Punk at AEW x NJPW Forbidden Door.
As previously reported, KENTA has been reportedly discussed for a match at AEW x NJPW Forbidden Door.
One of the AEW stars being mentioned as a potential opponent for the former IWGP United States Champion is the returning CM Punk.
This plays off the one-sided Twitter feud the two men have had with KENTA consistently calling out Punk for using his Go To Sleep finisher.
The Bullet Club member recently sent a message to AEW President Tony Khan to “give him the bag” if he wants to use him against Punk at the pay-per-view.
After a fan replied with wanting to see Punk face fellow NJPW star Tetsuya Naito, KENTA responded:
Sounds good to me
They are not gonna give me the bag
So Punk vs Naito. Do it.

Already announced for Forbidden Door, Bryan Danielson will face Kazuchika Okada in a dream match years in the making.
Meanwhile, Kenny Omega and Will Ospreay will battle in a Wrestle Kingdom 17 rematch for the IWGP United States Championship.
