For tonight’s big entrance at AEW x NJPW Forbidden Door (June 25) Bryan Danielson resurrected a song from his past as his theme music.
Bringing back his classic Ring of Honor theme, Final Countdown by Europe, Danielson’s entrance ahead of his main event match against Kazuchika Okada can be seen below.
With the Toronto crowd already having witnessed a series of thrilling matches tonight throughout the pay-per-view, there was still a big fight feel and excitement headed into the main event.
The match lived up to that excitement, and it was Danielson who walked away with the win via submission as Final Countdown played throughout the arena once again following a nearly 30-minute match to close the pay-per-view.
Elsewhere on tonight’s AEW x NJPW Forbidden Door pay-per-view, MJF successfully defended his AEW World Championship while another big match saw a title change.
