WWE Hall of Famer Mark Henry has been a part of AEW since Double or Nothing 2021, and he has many times teased potentially returning to the ring for one more match.
Should Henry return to the ring, an opponent many had speculated for him was Powerhouse Hobbs, who Henry has helped a lot during his time in the company.
Speaking to the Under the Ring podcast, Hobbs praised the WWE Hall of Famer for helping in in AEW.
He said:
“[Mark Henry] is a big man. He knows what I should do and what I shouldn’t do, what can work and what will work. He knows the struggles that some of his face in this business, so he’s definitely relatable.
“I mean, he can say things to me and know when I’m thinking before I’d even spit it out.”
Hobbs was then asked about a potential match with Henry, to which he said that he heard Henry is working on a comeback, but he doesn’t know if Henry wants to face him.
He added:
“I heard he’s working on a comeback, but it’s a different era. So, I don’t know if Mark wants to get this two-piece.”
Powerhouse Hobbs is set to face off with Miro at AEW All Out this weekend.
