A WWE tag team has returned to in-ring action at tonight’s SmackDown taping after having been off of television for the last two months.
While they had a pair of matches at house shows in July, the former NXT Women’s Tag Team Champions Alba Fyre and Isla Dawn have not seen in-ring action on television since June 2023.
It seems they may be closer to a televised return, tonight taking part in a pre-show dark match at the SmackDown taping.
Fyre and Dawn took on ‘Michin’ Mia Yim and Zelina Vega in the pre-show dark match to get the crowd excited for tonight’s show.
Their return was first noted by Fightful Select who also have the internal plans for the match order set for tonight’s episode of SmackDown in Boston.
Another fun tidbit from the report: LA Knight is set for 3 segments across the SmackDown broadcast tonight.
