While he has already been touting himself as the TNT Champion, now Christian Cage can legitimately claim the title.
Christian Cage has won the TNT Championship on tonight’s episode of AEW Collision (September 23) in a three-way title match against Luchasaurus and Darby Allin.
Cage actually ended up pinning the champ and his own sidekick Luchasaurus for the win too.
In a backstage segment afterward, Christian Cage wished to Nick Wayne’s mom and dead father, and said he hoped to be finally done with Darby Allin.
However, Tony Schiavone revealed that Cage was far from done with Darby as Tony Khan made a new match for WrestleDream official.
In a two out of three falls match, Christian Cage will be forced to defend his TNT Championship against Darby Allin in the latter’s hometown of Seattle.
Elsewhere on tonight’s AEW Collision, there has been another detail confirmed for WrestleDream as the third partner for Sammy Guevara and Konosuke Takeshita was revealed to be Will Ospreay.
