A student vs teacher Championship Eliminator match has been announced for tonight’s (October 18) episode of AEW Dynamite.
On last week’s Title Tuesday special episode of AEW Dynamite, Hikaru Shida became a record-setting three-time AEW Women’s World Champion, when she defeated Saraya to begin her third run with the title.
The first match of Shida’s run is set to take place on tonight’s episode of Dynamite, per Tony Khan on Twitter.
Khan announced a ‘Student vs Teacher’ match, with Shida facing off against her mentor Emi Sakura in an AEW Women’s World Championship Eliminator match.
Also set for tonight’s show is a singles match between Kenny Omega and Kyle Fletcher, as well as the annual AEW Dynamite Diamond Ring Battle Royal.
The number one contender for the AEW World Championship, Jay White, will also be in action on the show, taking on Penta El Zero Miedo.
The show will also feature an interview hosted by Jim Ross, where he will speak to both Nick Wayne and his mother.
