An AEW World Tag Team Championship match has been announced for the October 21 edition of AEW Collision.
On the October 7 episode of AEW Collision, Ricky Starks and Big Bill defeated FTR to win the AEW World Tag Team Championships in dominating fashion.
The new champions kept themselves busy on the following week’s Collision by getting involved and costing Bryan Danielson the TNT Championship against Christian Cage.
It now seems Starks and Bill will have to deal with the Blackpool Combat Club once again this coming Saturday.
On tonight’s AEW Dynamite, the company announced that Ricky Starks and Big Bill will defend the AEW World Tag Team Championships against Blackpool Combat Club’s Claudio Castagnoli and Wheeler Yuta on this Saturday’s October 21 episode of AEW Collision.
This match will mark the first time that Castagnoli will vie for AEW championship gold.
Also announced for Saturday’s show, Miro will face Action Andretti in singles action.
WrestleTalk will provide any further news and notes from tonight’s AEW Dynamite when they become available.
