CM Punk had reacted to the newly released remaster of ‘Cult of Personality’ amid speculation of a WWE return at Survivor Series.
With Survivor Series in Chicago set to take place tomorrow, speculation continues to ramp up about CM Punk potentially making his return to WWE at the event.
Punk was terminated with cause from AEW back on September 2 following the investigation into the backstage incident at AEW All In at Wembley Stadium.
With speculation mounting about a Punk return, Living Colour released a new remastered version of Punk’s theme song Cult of Personality today (November 24), just 24 hours before the event.
Obviously the song being released this close to the show has led to speculation that it could be used by Punk at the event tomorrow night, and Punk himself has now reacted to the rerelease.
Taking to his Instagram story, Punk shared a screenshot of the song on Spotify as fan speculation reaches an all-time high.
To reiterate, as of the latest word, CM Punk is NOT expected to be at Survivor Series. At the moment, any suggestion that he will be there is just fans hoping/guessing. It’s also not been ruled out as impossible.
