There has been a big update on the release of WWE 2K24 with an important update on the game’s future on last-generation consoles (PS4 & Xbox One) also seemingly confirmed.
As revealed by Andrew Marmo, formally of Wired Productions on Twitter, WWE’s next instalment of their 2K series has now been rated in Brazil, according to the Brazilian Government website.
While the game is typically a yearly release from publisher 2K it has not yet been officially announced in any form, with details on an official release window, roster, cover star and more still up in the air.
One further detail of the game’s release that has been speculated upon is whether we will see WWE 2K24 ditch the previous generation of consoles with their next release.
This is something many fans are seemingly clamouring for 2K to do, with a belief that only then will the game see a major leap forward in terms of gameplay and graphical enhancements.
And unfortunately for those hoping for such, the game’s rating on the Brazilian Government Website seems to confirm that the game will once again be releasing on both current-gen and last-gen systems.
PS5, PS4, Xbox Series X/S, Xbox One and PC are the systems the game is expected to release on based on the listing, the same as WWE 2K23 and 2K22 before that.
