Seth Rollins spoke about the passing of Windham Rotunda and Brodie Lee tonight after a daring WWE championship performance.
Seth Rollins took a moment to pay tribute to Bray Wyatt (real name Windham Rotunda) and Brodie Lee at tonight’s WWE Holiday Live at Madison Square Garden.
After picking up the victory and retaining his WWE Heavyweight Championship in a No DQ match against Drew McIntyre, Seth Rollins took a minute to honor two friends who are no longer with us.
Speaking about both Brodie Lee and Windham Rotunda, he took pause for the crowd to chant for both and said that earlier when the arena lights were off, he saw the ‘fireflies’ still out there.
Rollins told the crowd that despite the fact there was a curfew in place, he would not be leaving the ring until they all put up their ‘Fireflies’ and made so much noise, Brodie and Windham could hear them.
You can see the entire clip below.
WrestleTalk’s deepest condolences and best wishes remain with both the Huber and Rotunda families during this holiday season.
