Cody Rhodes has broken his silence after being attacked by the Bloodline on last night’s episode of WWE Raw.
The opening match on the February 19 episode of WWE Raw saw Cody Rhodes facing Drew McIntyre, and the match was posted in full to the WWE YouTube channel and can be seen below this news story.
With both men engaged in a well-balanced battle of wills, it would be the appearance of Jimmy Uso and Solo Sikoa of The Bloodline that would alter the balance of power.
With Uso distracting the official, Sikoa delivered a Samoan Spike on Rhodes allowing McIntyre to pick up the victory.
Drew McIntyre reacted to the contentious result on Twitter, posting:
“No chicken this time Cody. Just your tears. Hell of a fight, better luck next time”
In a response of his own, Rhodes was in salty form, tweeting:
“Drewso #WWERaw”
This isn’t the first time that a black-attired Sikoa has interfered in a Cody Rhodes match, having previously done so at WrestleMania 39 in 2023.
During Rhodes vs Reigns for the Undisputed WWE Universal Championship on Night 2, Sikoa also hit his Samoan Spike on Rhodes leading to the Tribal Chief retaining.
As for McIntyre, it was interference from Solo Sikoa that saw the Roman Reigns retain over McIntyre at the 2022 WWE Clash at the Castle in a moment that also saw Sikoa make his main roster debut.
