The AEW booking plans for Will Ospreay following him becoming full-time with the company have been revealed.
Former IWGP World Heavyweight Champion Will Ospreay was announced as the latest AEW signing back at Full Gear in November.
Ospreay noted that he would be finishing up his obligations with New Japan Pro Wrestling before joining the company full-time.
With Ospreay’s obligations with NJPW now finished, Ospreay is now officially ‘All Elite’ full-time, with him set for a match against Konosuke Takeshita at AEW Revolution.
Takeshita and Ospreay’s match is being advertised as a clash between two members of the Don Callis Family, but as many have expected, that is likely not to be the case for too long.
Per Fightful Select (subscription required), those within the company that had spoken to Fightful don’t expect Ospreay to remain aligned with Don Callis on AEW television for very long.
Ospreay’s last match in AEW came at AEW WrestleDream, when he teamed with Takeshita and Sammy Guevara to defeat Chris Jericho, Kenny Omega and Kota Ibushi.
AEW Revolution is set to take place this Sunday, March 3, in Greensboro.
