WWE itself has now officially confirmed the signing of a top international free agent during WrestleMania weekend.
There have been rumors for a while, but especially this weekend, about former STARDOM star Giulia joining WWE.
It was reported earlier today that Giulia was on her way to NXT, and that now looks to be confirmed.
During NXT Stand & Deliver today, just a few hours before WrestleMania itself, Giulia was shown on-screen.
She was sat alongside William Regal and was highlighted by commentary and with a nameplate, in the classic TakeOver style of announcing new arrivals.
The belief is that she will debut after finishing her already-agreed dates in Japan.
She had already agreed to help former STARDOM booker Rossy Ogawa start his new promotion in Japan and is keeping her word before joining WWE.
Just before Giulia was shown, WWE announced the upcoming introduction of the NXT Women’s North American Championship.
