The currently planned opening match for WWE WrestleMania 40 night two, kicking off in about three hours, has been revealed.
Tonight’s card features six matches, including of course the main event between Roman Reigns and Cody Rhodes.
That’ll end the night, but the match that’ll start the night has now been revealed as well.
At least right now, WWE is planning to open the show with the World Heavyweight Championship match between Seth Rollins and Drew McIntyre, according to PWInsider Elite.
Rollins closed last night’s show in the tag match with Cody Rhodes, Roman Reigns and The Rock.
The match will also see CM Punk joining the commentary team.
Rollins vs McIntyre starting the night would line up with the planned match order that was reported by the Wrestling Observer several days ago.
That WrestleMania night two match order was as follows:
– Drew McIntyre vs. Seth ‘Freakin’ Rollins
– The Pride vs. The Final Testament
– LA Knight vs. AJ Styles
– Logan Paul vs. Kevin Owens vs. Randy Orton
– Bayley vs. IYO SKY
– Cody Rhodes vs. Roman Reigns
We’ll keep you posted with all the updates throughout WrestleMania night two tonight.
