Two WWE stars have hilariously referenced AEW being set to air backstage footage from All In on tonight’s Dynamite show.
On Saturday’s episode of AEW Collision, AEW had announced that the Young Bucks were set to air unseen backstage footage from AEW All In at Wembley Stadium last August.
The announcement is believed to be a response to CM Punk’s interview with Ariel Helwani last week, where he addressed his time in the company and the backstage altercation that ultimately led to his termination from the company.
Dave Meltzer noted that the footage will be ‘real footage’ from the event, with the idea of ’embarrassing’ Punk following his comments last week.
Taking to Twitter today, new SmackDown Tag Team Champion Grayson Waller hilariously reacted to the announcement of the footage airing on Dynamite, joking that he had his own backstage footage to air of he and Austin Theory beating up the entire WWE locker room backstage.
He wrote:
Later today, I’m going to share exclusive security camera footage of myself and @_Theory1 beating up the entire WWE locker room backstage.
It’s time the world knows how tough the Smackdown Tag Champs really are!
WWE NXT star Dijak responded to Waller’s tweet, seemingly confirming that Waller and Theory DID beat up the entire WWE locker room, and noted that ‘real glass’ was involved.
He wrote:
It’s true, I saw it. There was real glass everywhere.
