With WrestleMania 40 in the record books (quite literally), there are major changes set for both WWE Raw and SmackDown.
According to a recent report from PW Insider, WWE will be rolling back on “certain aspects of production” to get more fans into their venues.
Looking specifically at WWE Raw and SmackDown, the PW Insider report states:
“The Smackdown and Raw setup seen over Wrestlemania weekend will be the norm going forward as a way to roll back certain aspects of production in favor of packing more fans into the Arenas.
“Even Madison Square Garden will feature the smaller production setup for the 6/28 Smackdown taping.
“There may be exceptions to this but it was will be one of the changes as part of the Endeavor era.”
The changes were seen on the April 8 WWE Raw after WrestleMania with smaller screens in the Wells Fargo Center, along with minimal staging.
