An AEW star has reacted to losing their championship at last night’s AEW Dynasty pay-per-view event in St. Louis.
Many new champions were crowned at last night’s AEW Dynasty pay-per-view, including the crowning of Swerve Strickland as the new AEW World Champion.
Also on the show, Willow Nightingale captured the TBS Championship, defeating Julia Hart for the title.
After the match, Mercedes Mone confronted Willow, officially challenging her to a match for the title at the upcoming AEW Double or Nothing event in Las Vegas next month.
Following the show, AEW has now uploaded a digital exclusive of Julia and the House of Black following her loss, where Brody King approached Julia, covering her in his jacket as she sobbed, and telling it’s time to rebuild.
The other members of the House of Black were also in action on the show, when Malakai Black, Buddy Matthews and Brody King defeated Eddie Kingston, Adam Copeland and Mark Briscoe, with Black pinning the TNT Champion Copeland.
Willow will officially defend the title against Mercedes Mone at Double or Nothing, which will be Mercedes’ first match in AEW.
