Mercedes Mone has reacted to AEW CEO Tony Khan being attacked by the Young Bucks, Jack Perry and Kazuchika Okada on tonight’s Dynamite.
While other AEW stars have rushed to social media to share their shock and concern over the events that closed tonight’s Dynamite, one had a different reaction.
Taking to Twitter to write her own take on the moment, Mone said:
“Say hello to your new #CEO 😱”
Mone, who has gone by the nickname ‘The CEO’ since joining AEW, may need to start filling in for actual AEW CEO Tony Khan after he was assaulted at the hands of Jack Perry and the Young Bucks.
While Kazuchika Okada watched on, the Bucks delivered their recently re-named ‘TK Driver’, literally on Tony Khan himself.
The show ended with an assortment of AEW stars in the ring showing concern for their boss including one very big surprise appearance.
Tony Khan’s father Shad Khan made a rare on-screen appearance, coming to the ring to check on his son as the show went off the air.
