In July, Grayson Waller made his return to the WWE NXT brand and immediately set his sights on the top prize.
At WWE NXT Heatwave 2026, Waller defeated Tony D’Angelo, Zilla Fatu and Cruz Montana to win the NXT Championship.
Now with the entire roster gunning for her, Waller might need some backup to protect his NXT Championship.

In September 2026, WWE revealed their latest class of recruits to the Performance Center.
Among the talent who were part of this class were Australian independent wrestling standout tag team The Dropouts.
Scott Green and The Tuckman garnered attention with their undeniable charisma and unique personalities.
After recently giving Grayson Waller a shoe to have a Shoey celebration following his first successful NXT Championship defense, The Dropouts seem like a logical choice to join “The Aussie Icon” in a stable.
Josh Briggs
Someone who has been absent from WWE NXT TV over the past few months is Josh Briggs.
Over the course of his five year run on the brand, Briggs has been one of the most underrated in-ring talents on the roster.
Considering everything he has to offer, Briggs could play an essential bodyguard role for a top star on NXT.

Being motivated more than ever, The Creeds seem like an odds-on favorite to win, but they may need an extra boost to secure the victory.
The Creed Brothers joining forces with Grayson Waller just makes a ton of sense and may help both as they continue to reestablish themselves back on the WWE NXT brand moving forward.

Another Australian star on the WWE NXT roster is the current NXT Women’s North American Champion ZARIA.
Since signing with 2024, ZARIA has proven herself as one of the biggest stars in the NXT women’s division.
Coming from Australia, ZARIA has had a difficult time keeping friends with her high profile breakup with Sol Ruca earlier this year.
Joining forces with a fellow Aussie, ZARIA could become the enforcer for this potential Grayson Waller faction.
