AEW
Jon Moxley has gone out of his way to face pretty much every single star on the AEW roster.
Despite holding the record for the most wins in AEW history, Moxley still has a few stars that he hasn’t faced in the company as of yet.
The Death Riders leader still has a few names left to step inside the squared circle with in All Elite Wrestling.
Here are five potential first-time AEW opponents for Jon Moxley.
Austin Creed
At AEW All In London 2026, The New Level made their debut with the company by teaming with Swerve Strickland to win the AEW World Trios Championships.
Since then, Kofi and Austin Creed have been competing in trios action in the promotion.
However, Kofi has recently stepped out on his own and could set the stage for Austin Creed to do the same.
Facing off with Jon Moxley, Creed can really showcase what he has to offer as a singles star.
Blackheart Lio Rush
Surprisingly, “Blackheart” Lio Rush is one of the names on the AEW roster that has never faced Jon Moxley.
Rush has been featured on both AEW and ROH television, but he hasn’t faced a few of the top names in the company today.
With his unique character, it would be interesting to see how Moxley interacts with Rush.
Moxley having to deal with the wild antics of the “Blackheart” would make for an intriguing first-time encounter.
Ricochet
In 2024, Ricochet signed with All Elite Wrestling and has been one of the most featured stars in the promotion.
While he has faced the likes of Will Ospreay, Swerve Strickland and Chris Jericho, there are still several top stars that have yet to step in the ring with Ricochet.
Among those names, Jon Moxley is someone who never got the chance to square off with Ricochet, whether it be in WWE or All Elite Wrestling.
Considering their prominence in AEW right now, it makes sense for Ricochet to step up to challenge Moxley for the Continental Title down the line.
Tommaso Ciampa
In January 2026, Tommaso Ciampa arrived in AEW and has been full steam ahead ever since.
“The Psycho Killer” came into the company and immediately defeated Mark Briscoe to win the TNT Championship.
Despite this run only lasting 11 days, Ciampa has been determined to become a champion again, which could lead to him going after Jon Moxley’s AEW Continental Title.
Ciampa facing off with Moxley would make for a compelling battle considering their experience and ability inside the ring.
Mistico
Following AEW Revolution 2026, Mistico became the latest star to sign a dual contract with both All Elite Wrestling and CMLL.
While AEW talent have gone over to Arena Mexico to compete in CMLL, there are not many stars who have stepped in the ring with Mistico one-on-one.
Considering their statuses in AEW and CMLL, Mistico and Jon Moxley would be a dream match in a lot of different fashions.
Mistico stepping in the ring with Mox would make for such an intriguing showdown between two of the best wrestlers in the world today that fans will never forget.
