9. Brock Lesnar
Brock Lesnar’s time on SmackDown was short compared to the other names on this list. However, the entire time he was on the brand, Lesnar made SmackDown eventful.
Following SummerSlam in 2002, Lesnar took the WWE Championship to SmackDown and launched the original brand split. The ‘Next Big Thing’ dominated SmackDown over the next two years, holding the WWE Championship three times; the last title win coming in one of the very best matches in SmackDown history when Lesnar defeated Kurt Angle in a 60-Minute Ironman match in September of 2003.
Lesnar left WWE in 2004 and brought an end to his SmackDown tenure. Until his return to the company in 2012, Lesnar’s run on SmackDown was his legacy in WWE, and it was quite a legacy indeed.
