10 NXT 2.0 Stars You Need To Watch

3. Indi Hartwell

A life-long fan now nearing the top of the women’s division, Indi Hartwell is a joy to have on our televisions every Tuesday.

An Australian-native, Indi started training at 19-years-old wrestling for 3 years working her way to American promotions RISE and SHIMMER until she was signed to WWE in 2019.

She pretty much “main evented” the first NXT 2.0, marrying Dexter Lumis.

While her choice in a husband might be strange, her willingness to commit to her character as a plucky underdog has made her a fan favorite.

Indi will one day hold the NXT Women’s Championship with her husband by her side because if there’s a will there’ll be a WAY.

2. LA Knight

You’d have to be a… DUMMY, YEA to not be a fan of LA Knight. In a business where the better you are on the microphone determines your success, LA Knight is a WWE Champion in the making.

A former world champion in his own regard in IMPACT Wrestling, Knight is a pompous, witty, schmuck with a cocky attitude that fans absolutely eat up.

He’s drawn close comparison to The Rock as an entertainer and given his age (38-years-old) he may be called to the main roster sooner than we think.

Knight is a million-dollar star even without holding Ted’s championship.

1. Carmelo Hayes

Before the rebrand, Hayes won the NXT Breakout Tournament giving him a title shot of his choice and the spotlight of the NXT Universe.

Known on the independent scene as Christian Casanova, he made his name in the New England area wrestling for Limitless, Beyond, and Chaotic Wrestling.

Carmelo’s charisma and conviction when he speaks make him undoubtedly the next big star on NXT 2.0.

A breed of athleticism similar to a Ricochet or Will Ospreay puts Hayes in an elite class of today’s performers.

It’s not if, but when he becomes NXT Champion, Hayes will usher in an era of ruthless aggression that the WWE has not seen in some time.
