10 Surprises WWE Could Book For Royal Rumble 2024

We are officially less than a week away from the 2024 Royal Rumble match, marking the Road to WrestleMania 40.

It’s hard to believe that it’s been a year since last week’s event, which came just a few weeks after Vince McMahon’s return to the company, with him likely having some say in the show.

So in many ways, this year’s event will be Triple H’s first true Royal Rumble all of his own, and he is sure to have some surprises up his sleeve.

Here are 10 surprises that WWE could pull off at the 2024 Royal Rumble.

CM Punk Doesn’t Win The Royal Rumble

CM Punk is considered the heavy favourite for this year’s Royal Rumble match, with him likely to win to cement a WrestleMania main event against Seth Rollins.

However, Rollins’ recent injury could throw a spanner into the plans, as even though he will likely make it to WrestleMania, it could require some shifting of plans.

The shift to those plans could lead to Punk not ending up winning the Royal Rumble match, which I think most would agree would be a shocker.

He’ll make it to WrestleMania regardless, but he’s not necessarily nailed on to win this match.
