20 More Names Who Should Be In The WWE Hall Of Fame

4. Chyna

WWE Tenure: 1997-2001 (Wrestler)

Notable Accomplishments: 2x Intercontinental Championship and 1x Women’s Championship

Yes, Chyna was inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame last year as part of DX, but she is truly deserving of an induction all on her own.

It says a lot about Chyna that out of the three championships she won in WWE, two of them were men’s titles. It was even considered during the peak of her WWE run that Chyna would win the WWE Championship. The fact even to this day no woman has ever won the company’s top prize shows just how special Chyna was. When WWE booked Chyna to beat male superstars, fans actually believed it could happen, it didn’t feel like WWE was doing this to create a good PR image, Chyna just fit in with the boys.

She changed the landscape for women in WWE and although she passed away without reconciling her relationship with company, she more than deserves to be inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame in the future on her own, rather than as a part of DX.

3. Kane

WWE Tenure: 1995-Present (Wrestler)

Notable Accomplishments: 1x WWE Championship, 1x World Heavyweight Championship, 1x ECW World Championship, 1x Hardcore Championship, 2x Intercontinental Championship, 10x WWE World Tag Team Championship and 1x Money In The Bank Winner

We currently have the President of the US, Donald Trump in the WWE Hall of Fame, so why not add the Mayor of Knox County, Glenn Jacobs?

Before Glenn Jacobs was Kane, he was saddled with awful gimmicks such as Fake Diesel and Isaac Yankem, the dentist. However, Kane’s debut as ‘The Big Red Machine’ is arguably one of the greatest in WWE history. Coming to the ring and tearing down the door to Hell In A Cell, Kane was immediately thrust into WWE’s main event picture. Since then Kane has been an intense heel and a fun babyface, especially in his run with Daniel Bryan as ‘Team Hell No’.

Whilst Kane is still technically a WWE wrestler, his political commitments mean his WWE career is likely coming to a close. Kane was agile for his size and has been a reliable guy for Vince McMahon, very few people deserve a Hall of Fame induction more than Kane.

2. Chris Jericho

WWE Tenure: 1999-2005, 2007-2010, 2011-2018 (Wrestler)

Notable Accomplishments: 1x Undisputed WWE Championship, 3x World Heavyweight Championship, 2x WCW World Heavyweight Championship, 1x Hardcore Championship, 1x United States Championship, 2x European Championship, 9x Intercontinental Championship, 2x WWE Tag Team Championship and 5x WWE World Tag Team Championship

Chris Jericho is the current AEW World Champion. This makes this induction slightly less likely, but not impossible. Jericho is undeniably one of the greatest all-around performers the wrestling business has ever seen. Whether we got: conspiracy theory victim Jericho, suit-wearing Jericho or the ‘List of Jericho’ Jericho, Y2J was often one of the most entertaining acts on the entire card.

He could be cocky and arrogant or comedic and engaging, he adapted his performances to the character he was given better than anyone else in wrestling. Jericho said he was ‘the best in the world at what he does’ and it is very hard to argue with that statement. He showed with his 2018 clash with Kenny Omega that despite being nearly 50, Jericho is still able to have breath-taking matches, often outshining much younger opponents.

Whilst the first-ever Undisputed WWE Champion is now working for AEW, WWE could still induct him, or just wait until his contract expires in three years. Ric Flair, with the Four Horsemen, was inducted into the 2012 Hall of Fame whilst signed with TNA, and WWE could try and sort a deal with AEW to induct Jericho. He is arguably the greatest performer in wrestling history and certainly deserves to be inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame.

1. The Undertaker

WWE Tenure: 1990-Present? (Wrestler)

Notable Accomplishments: 3x World Heavyweight Championship. 4x WWE Championship, 1x Hardcore Championship, 7x WWE World Tag Team Championship and 1x Royal Rumble Winner

Whilst Jericho might be the most versatile performer in WWE, it is clear that The Undertaker is the best character in WWE history, and that will most likely remain true for years and years to come. The Undertaker was a main-event guy for WWE for pretty much two decades. His character was simple yet complex, engaging yet ambiguous.

He was a locker room leader and most likely the single most highly respected performer in wrestling history. His character work was so good that we often forget how good he also was in the ring. His five consecutive WrestleMania matches with Shawn Michaels (twice), Triple H (twice) and CM Punk proved how Undertaker was a great storyteller in the ring, as well as on the mic.

It is unclear if Undertaker is 100% done with WWE. Many people thought after his loss at Roman Reigns at WrestleMania 33 that he had retired and would be inducted in the Hall of Fame for WrestleMania 34 weekend, but Taker ended up beating John Cena on the show. Undertaker is a one-of-a-kind performer, and he is the most decorated wrestler WWE has ever had, and will likely ever have. A Hall of Fame induction for The Undertaker is the least that ‘The Deadman’ deserves.
