20 Potential Andre The Giant Memorial Battle Royal Entrants

With Elimination Chamber and Fastlane in the rear-view mirror, the road to WrestleMania will soon come to an end at the ‘Showcase of the Immortals’. That being said, quite a few members of the WWE roster are currently without a WrestleMania match and will presumably find themselves in one of two battle royals set to take place at WWE’s biggest show of the year. Here’s my list of 20 Potential Andre the Giant Memorial Battle Royal Entrants.

20. Mojo Rawley

Despite being the winner of last year’s Andre battle royal, Mojo Rawley has seen no significant push since. He will likely return to the battle royal this year.

19-18. Apollo Crews/Titus O’Niell (Titus Worldwide)

Officially out of the Raw Tag Team Championship picture after losing a 2/3 falls match to The Bar, Titus Worldwide have no other match for WrestleMania.

17-16. Shelton Benjamin/Chad Gable

Similar to the Titus Worldwide situation, Benjamin & Gable are coming off the heels of a Tag Team Championship feud which saw them fail to claim gold, likely placing them in this battle royal as well.

15. Zack Ryder

Ever since Zack Ryder was betrayed by the aforementioned Mojo Rawley, he has hardly been seen on Smackdown Live. This year’s battle royal is prime time for him to make his return and possibly seek revenge.

14-13. Heath Slater/Rhyno

Heath Slater deserves a Wrestlemania pay day, and this is probably the only way he’s going to get it. I hope he wins the whole thing. Oh, and Rhyno will be there too.

12-11. Bo Dallas/Curtis Axel (The Miztourage)

These two will most likely be eliminated unceremoniously, early on in the match, and be out later in the night to assist their leader The Miz in his Intercontinental Championship match.

10. Tye Dillinger

Another lost soul floating adrift on the smackdown brand, a match of this format is necessary for Dillinger to let his presence be known at this year’s Wrestlemania.

9-8. Dash Wilder/Scott Dawson (The Revival)

Effectively buried by DX as well as The Bar, this battle royal is the Revival’s best chance of getting on the Wrestlemania card.

7. Baron Corbin

He’s big, he’s boring, and he’s probably going to be in the battle royal considering his lack of momentum following Fastlane.

6. Dolph Ziggler

In a similar position to Baron Corbin leading up to WrestleMania, perhaps Dolph’s decision to vacate his United States Championship was not the wisest.

5. Elias

Although I trust WWE can find a more appropriate spot for Elias, it is undeniable that a performance of his could serve to make this battle royal much more entertaining

4. Goldust

Despite being involved in a recent Raw segment with John Cena, Dustin Rhodes’ presence has hardly been felt in WWE as of late and the man has no ongoing storyline. He deserves to be involved with WrestleMania in some capacity.

3. Big Cass

A bit of wishful thinking here considering Cass is currently out injured, but considering The Sun have recently reported that the 7-foot goliath is nearing an in-ring return, it is a possibility.

2-1. Rusev/Aiden English (Rusev Day)

You don’t want it to happen, I don’t want it to happen, but it looks like Rusev and Aiden English could easily end up in the Andre the Giant Memorial Battle Royal this year. The only other option I see WWE going with for the Rusev Day act is to add them into the US Title picture, although neither idea is a fitting position for talent as over as these two are.

Who do you think will be stepping between the ropes for the 5th annual Andre the Giant Memorial Battle Royal? Let us know in the comments and be sure to check in for more breaking news along the road to this year’s WrestleMania.
