205 Live Review, May 15, 2018 – The Heart, The Soul & The British Guy

TJP vs. Tyler Bate vs. Kenny Williams vs. Kalisto

Much of this match revolved around TJP and Tyler Bate, who wrestled each other the last time 205 Live aired from England. TJP dominated the early portion of this match, but soon it was Bate and Williams who owned the ring. TJP got back into the action and somehow managed to get a submission on three people simultaneously. After the holds were broken, Williams, Bate, and Kalisto all hit various kinds of dives to the outside. Following that, TJP attempted to hit Bate with the Detonation Kick, but Bate countered and would hit the Tyler Driver 97 for the win.

Result: Tyler Bate def. TJP, Kenny Williams, Kalisto

This was cruiserweights doing what cruiserweights should do. The action was fast-paced and mixed hard strikes with high-flying spots. The triple submission spot from TJP was excellent, as was the triple dive spot from the three other superstars. Tyler Bate winning made the most sense, considering his history with TJP. However, with Kenny Williams entering the UK Championship Tournament, giving him the victory here would have established him as a threat.
