WWE Night of Champions 2026 will be the next premium live event on the calendar, taking place from Riyadh, Saudi Arabia on Sunday, June 27.
There are several champions on the WWE roster who could face a tough test on the upcoming PLE that might lead to some title changes.
Whether it be former champions regaining gold or chases being concluded in Saudi Arabia, there might be some interesting title switches over the course of the event on June 27.
Here are six potential title changes at WWE Night of Champions 2026.
6. Street Profits Beat The Vision To Win The World Tag Team Title
At the May 23 edition of WWE Saturday Night’s Main Event, The Vision’s Logan Paul and Austin Theory defeated The Street Profits to retain the World Tag Team Championship.
During the course of this bout, Paul suffered a torn triceps injury that will cause him to be sidelined for months.
On the May 25 episode of Monday Night Raw, Theory was on a warpath that saw him attack Angelo Dawkins with a steel chair and take him out of action.
Whenever Dawkins is back, it could lead to the Street Profits challenging and defeating The Vision to win the World Tag Team Title at the WWE Night of Champions 2026 premium live event.
5. The MFTs Defeat R-Truth & Damian Priest To Win The WWE Tag Team Championship
Over the past couple of months, The MFTs have targeted R-Truth and Damian Priest for the WWE Tag Team Championship.
Solo Sikoa, Tama Tonga and Talla Tonga have attacked the champions across multiple weeks.
After not getting their opportunity at the titles, it should lead to The MFTs challenging Wepa Up for the gold at WWE Night of Champions 2026.
Depending on what combination from the group it is, The MFTs might be the toughest test and one that Truth and Priest cannot overcome in Saudi Arabia.
4. Blake Monroe Takes The Women’s United States Championship From Tiffany Stratton
After nearly a year on WWE NXT, Blake Monroe is making her way to the main roster and has been featured in vignettes on Friday Night SmackDown.
While she has called out Rhea Ripley in her most recent video, fans might see Monroe make her way to the blue brand to challenge for another title.
The former Mariah May challenging Tiffany Stratton would make for an intriguing WWE Women’s United States Championship match at the next premium live event.
With her skill, ability and experience, Monroe feels like a significant threat to take the Women’s US Title off of Stratton at WWE Night of Champions 2026.
3. Fatal Influence Capture The Women’s Tag Team Championship From Paige & Brie Bella
On the April 24 WWE SmackDown after WrestleMania 42, Fatal Influence made their main roster debut by immediately attacking Paige, Brie Bella, Alexa Bliss and Charlotte Flair.
Ever since making their way to SmackDown, Jacy Jayne, Fallon Henley and Lainey Reid have made it clear that they have their eyes on championship gold.
Since winning the Women’s Tag Team Title at WWE WrestleMania 42, Paige and Brie have been fighting champions and have not backed down from any challengers.
Fatal Influence feel more than ready to challenge and potentially capture the Women’s Tag Team gold from Brie and Paige at the WWE Night of Champions 2026 PLE.
2. Rey Mysterio Wins The Intercontinental Championship From Penta
On the May 25 episode of Monday Night Raw, Rey Mysterio made his return to the red brand and interacted with Penta backstage.
During their interaction backstage, Penta suggested a WWE Intercontinental Championship match against Mysterio in the future.
The two luchadors have been largely connected to one another ever since Penta made his WWE debut in January 2025.
With Pentabeing a fighting champion since capturing the gold in March, Mysterio has all the experience in the world to beat Penta and become a three-time IC Champion.
1. GUNTHER Dethrones Cody Rhodes For The Undisputed WWE Championship
At WWE Clash In Italy 2026, Cody Rhodes defeated GUNTHER to retain the Undisputed WWE Championship.
However, this victory did not come without a ton of controversy as GUNTHER’s foot was under the rope during the pinfall.
‘The American Nightmare’ made it clear that he is willing to defend his title against ‘The Ring General’ once again.
In a rematch at WWE Night of Champions, GUNTHER feels like too much to overcome for Cody to walk out of Saudi Arabia with the Undisputed WWE Championship.
