7 Best Non-Elimination Chamber Matches At Elimination Chamber

6. Seth Rollins vs Dean Ambrose (Elimination Chamber 2015)

When Seth Rollins pulled off the heist of the century to capture the WWE Championship for the first time, he would need a long list of babyface challengers to see off.

People still loved Dean Ambrose in spite of weird holograms and exploding televisions completely halting his momentum in late 2014. As such, nobody truly expected Ambrose to capture the championship in this match.

But dammit, if the fans in attendance that night weren’t going to believe. The crowd was alive for every nearfall, with Ambrose having to fight off not only Rollins, but also Kane and J&J Security who had been allowed at ringside at the behest of the authority, who had barred Roman Reigns from being in Ambrose’s corner.

One referee bump and Dirty Deeds later, and Dean Ambrose was the WWE Champion! Or so we were led to believe, as WWE pulled off the greatest execution of a ‘Dusty Finish’ in the last 10 years, awarding Ambrose the disqualification victory, with Seth keeping the title.

Roman Reigns would save Ambrose after the match, who then decided that he would, in fact, being taking the title home. Ambrose appeared with the belt for several weeks before Rollins took his title back from the Lunatic Fringe in a Ladder match at Money In The Bank the following month.

Ambrose would have to wait another 12 months, but he would eventually hold the gold at the expense of Rollins, just not that night.
