6. Riho
Remember when I said every opponent for Soho would be different? Well, here is another perfect example of that. Riho is another completely unique performer on AEW’s roster with her size and likeability being her defining traits.
Riho is not only super popular but she is a phenomenal wrestler. Her matches with Serena Deeb, Nyla Rose, and Emi Sakura more than prove that.
Just as Ruby Soho could stand to gain from being an underdog against Nyla Rose, getting the chance to be the larger of two wrestlers in a match with Riho is a unique opportunity.
5. Jade Cargill
Jade Cargill has been used sparingly on television since her debut but it is very clear that AEW thinks very highly of her. She has yet to lose a match and when she is on television she is put in big matches.
This may be a match that fans have to wait a little longer for but Jade Cargill is one of the top talents in the AEW women’s division and a match with their newest signing will almost certainly happen at some point.
Cargill is currently feuding with Nyla Rose so her attention is elsewhere but it will be only a matter of time before she turns her attention to the AEW Women’s Championship. If Soho is still in the mix by then, we could see a big match coming.
4. Hikaru Shida
The longest reigning champion in AEW history, Hikaru Shida is still one of the biggest stars in the AEW women’s division. She hasn’t had a ton to do since losing the title but a match with a hot new signing could give her the boost she needs.
Shida spent her year as champion having great matches with all challengers. She could wrestle any style and make it work. Now, she could continue that streak of great matches with Ruby Soho.
Shida and Soho don’t have much of a reason to wrestle just yet but it would be a crime to not put together a match with as much potential to be great as this.
