AEW Stars To Turn Babyface Soon

Over the past few weeks alone, AEW has seen some of its top names turn from heel to babyface.

Kenny Omega’s brief heel run seemingly came to an end when he embraced Will Ospreay after their All In London main event. Jon Moxley also seemingly turned babyface when he reconciled with Ospreay ahead of that match, and later helped him during an attack from Gabe Kidd on the following Wednesday’s Dynamite.

Swerve Strickland is another, with the former AEW World Champion now seemingly also back to being a face after aligning with Austin Creed and Kofi.

While these are all pretty considerable changes, there are still more names who could soon follow suit. Here are three AEW stars who could turn babyface soon.

Kyle Fletcher

At AEW All In London 2026, Kyle Fletcher lost the International Championship to his Don Callis Family stablemate Kazuchika Okada in a match also featuring Konosuke Takeshita.

Okada’s win unsurprisingly did not go down too well with ‘The Protostar’, and between that and Kevin Knight’s presence in the group, it feels like Fletcher is on the verge of a breakdown.

Fans were wanting Kyle to turn on the family at All In, but he begrudgingly raised Okada’s hand instead, however, it truly does feel as if that big moment is coming.

With Fletcher wanting to break into the AEW World Title scene, he may soon find out that his allegiance to Don Callis is doing more harm than good, as others before him such as Takeshita, Ospreay and Omega did in their own time.

Samoa Joe

One AEW missing from all the All In London festivities was former two-time AEW World Champion Samoa Joe.

‘The Samoan Submission Machine’ is off TV filming the latest season of Twisted Metal, but should be nearing a return fairly soon.

With The Opps not doing a whole lot of note in his absence, it might be time for Joe to take the reins of the group once again and either disband it or transform it.

With Anthony Bowens potentially departing AEW soon, and the likes of HOOK and Katsuyori Shibata previously popular babyfaces in their own right, it may be time for Joe and the entire Opps faction to turn face.

Triangle of Madness (Thekla, Julia Hart & Skye Blue)

Those who watched the September 2 episode of AEW Dynamite may rightfully argue that Thekla already turned babyface when she seemingly stepped up to be Mercedes Moné’s first challenger for the Women’s World Title, however, it’s hard to say that her and the Sisters of Sin (Julia Hart & Skye Blue) are definitely good guys as of yet.

The coming weeks should give us an indication as to whether they are all on the babyface side of the roster or not, and even if they have turned, AEW really wouldn’t have to change much of anything about them character wise.

Thekla’s unique charisma is always entertaining, and Sisters of Sin are always willing to go the extra mile in their matches, which fans appreciate.

With Moné recently aligned with the Divine Dominion, perhaps we could get a six-way feud between the two sides going ahead of All Out 2026.
