At the July 18 edition of WWE Saturday Night’s Main Event, Lyra Valkyria defeated Bayley. Post match, Valkyria beat down Bayley, ending with the Night Wing on top of the steel steps.

Following this loss, rumors started to circulate that Bayley was expected to leave WWE upon her contract expiring.

Despite information on when her contract expires, many fans believe Bayley will make her way to All Elite Wrestling if she does in fact depart WWE.

Here are six potential Bayley AEW debut plans.

6. Challenging the winner of Thekla vs. Willow Nightingale at AEW Redemption

It would not surprise many fans to see Bayley come into All Elite Wrestling and immediately want the top prize in the promotion.

At AEW Redemption 2026, Thekla will defend the AEW Women’s World Championship against Willow Nightingale.

While the winner of this match is expected to defend the gold against Mercedes Monè at AEW All In London 2026, there is no stopping anyone from challenging for the title ahead of Wembley Stadium.

Bayley making her debut in the company could see the former multi-time WWE Women’s Champion go after the AEW Women’s World Title at the upcoming Redemption pay-per-view.

5. Surprise debut at AEW Grand Slam Mexico

As of late, Bayley has been making appearances on Lucha Libre AAA to compete in the ring with some of the Mexican promotion’s top female talent.

After making an impression in Mexico, it makes sense for Bayley to want to continue to appear in the country.

Tony Khan could bring in Bayley to debut her on the road to AEW All In London 2026 to have her play a pivotal role at the biggest event of the year.

Making a surprise debut at AEW Grand Slam Mexico would make for an intriguing debut for Bayley where she can interject herself into one of the most prominent storylines in the company.

4. First time meeting with Kris Statlander

Outside of the squared circle, Bayley has made a ton of friends that are not currently working in WWE.

The former WWE Women’s Champion is someone who is a dream opponent for many names on the AEW roster.

One of Bayley’s closest friends in All Elite Wrestling has to be Kris Statlander, who has been seen hanging out and training with the WWE star in the past.

Statlander being Bayley’s first AEW opponent seems more than fitting and a logical move to guarantee she has a strong match coming into the promotion.

3. Challenging Hikaru Shida for the TBS Championship

On the July 1 episode of AEW Dynamite, Hikaru Shida defeated Kris Statlander, Persephone, Queen Aminata, MAIKA and Harley Cameron in Survival of the Fittest to win the TBS Championship.

With this victory, Shida only became the second woman to ever capture the AEW Women’s World and TBS Championships along with Statlander.

Wanting to give “The Ace” new, fresh opponents, Bayley could come in to challenge the new TBS Champion.

Bayley making her AEW debut to face Shida for the TBS Title could make for a showstealing bout on any card in the future.

2. Joining Mercedes Monè & Divine Dominion in their new group

On the July 8 Beach Break special of AEW Dynamite, Willow Nightingale won the Women’s Casino Gauntlet to become the new number one contender for the AEW Women’s World Championship at Redemption 2026.

After the match, AEW Women’s World Champion Thekla attacked Nightingale until 2026 Owen Hart Cup winner Mercedes Monè laid out both women, while Divine Dominion attacked Sisters of Sin to signal a new alliance.

To confirm this pairing, Mercedes, Megan Bayne and Lena Kross defeated Nightingale, Maya World and Hyan on the July 15 AEW Dynamite.

Bayley coming into All Elite Wrestling could open the door for her to join her real life friend Monè’s new faction with the current AEW Women’s World Tag Team Champions Divine Dominion.

1. Confronting Mercedes Monè at AEW All In London 2026

All Elite Wrestling is well on the road to Wembley Stadium for the All In London 2026 pay-per-view on Sunday, August 30.

In one of the biggest matches on the card, Mercedes Monè will challenge for the AEW Women’s World Championship.

“The CEO” is now on the cusp of one of the biggest victories of her legendary career, so this could be the perfect moment for her best friend to step into the company.

Whether she wins or loses in Wembley Stadium, it would be a smart move to have Bayley make her debut to confront Monè to either challenge or comfort her longtime rival.
