Every WWE main roster star competing in AAA

WWE

For a number of WWE stars, double duty comes calling as they move from the main roster shows to AAA on a regular basis.

WWE acquired AAA in April 2025, with Triple H commenting on the plans for the promotion after WrestleMania 41.

With a weekly AAA show and regular PLEs for the promotion, a number of main roster WWE stars have become fixtures in the Mexico-based promotion, while maintaining a presence on Raw & SmackDown.

With plenty of stars currently on the main roster while also appearing in AAA, and here’s a list of them (at the time of writing):

Angel

Los Perros del Mal (Angel, Berto, & Daga) became AAA World Trios Champions at Triplemania 34 Night 1 with a victory over Los Psycho Circus (Dave the Clown, Murder Clown, & Psycho Clown).

Alongside Berto, he is a member of the WWE Raw roster.

Axiom & Nathan Frazer

Whether it’s individually or as Fraxiom, Axiom & Nathan Frazier call SmackDown their home and have both competed in AAA in the past year.

Frazer came up short in the AAA World Cruiserweight Championship Fatal Four-Way, which was won by Rey Fenix.

Berto

A member of Los Perros del Mal and a member of the Raw roster, Berto captured the AAA World Trios Championship alongside Angel and Daga at Triplemania 34 Night 1.

Bravo & Rayo Americano

Members of Los Americanos, Bravo Americano teamed with Rayo in a Fatal Four-Way elimination victory at Triplemania 34, defeating Fraxiom, LWO & Tokyo Bad Boys.

Drafted to WWE Raw, Los Americanos have also been seen on NXT this year.

Bronco Nima

A single outing in AAA back in August, Bronco Nima was on the losing end of his match against Penta.

Nima was recently called up to the main roster, making his debut on the August 24 episode of WWE Raw alongside his OTM teammate Lucien Price, uniting with the returning Royce Keys as the 946.

Cruz Del Toro & Joaquin Wilde

Members of the Latino World Order, Cruz Del Toro and Joaquin Wilde are both on the WWE Raw roster.

Damian Priest

A member of the SmackDown roster, Damian Priest recently turned his back on R-Truth after the duo failed to defeat the War Raiders for the AAA World Tag Team Championship on SmackDown.

Dominik Mysterio

The Judgment Day member lost the AAA Mega Championship at Triplemania 34, bringing an end to a reign that last a touch over one year.

Dominik Mysterio, along with the rest of Judgment Day, are members of the WWE Raw roster.

Dragon Lee

A member of the WWE Raw roster, Dragon Lee is also a member of the LWO, and teamed with Penta & Rey Fenix at AAA Ola De Calor on August 30 in a victory over Los Perros del Mal.

El Grande Americano

The current AAA Mega Champion, El Grande Americano is a member of the Raw roster and the leader of Los Americanos, the faction that also includes Bravo & Rayo Americano.

Unmasked and back to being Chad Gable, the now-former Original El Grande Americano has indicated he’s hoping for a return to AAA.

Erik & Ivar

One-half of The War Raiders, Erik & Ivar are signed to SmackDown and lost the AAA World Tag Team Championship to The Wagner Brothers (El Hijo de Dr. Wagner Jr & Galeno) at Triplemania 34 Night 2.

Lola Vice

A former AAA World Mixed Tag Team Champion with Mr. Iguana, Lola Vice was called up to the main roster in August and has been assigned to WWE Raw.

Nattie

Multiple showings in AAA for this WWE Raw star, with her most recent outing being at Triplemania 34 in a Reina de Reinas number one contendership Fatal Four-Way that would be won by Roxanne Perez.

Omos

One of a small number of WWE stars to be “free agents“, Omos has pretty much been a fixture in AAA since August, with his Triplemania 34 match on Night 1 seeing him defeat Rey Mysterio getting his suspension lifted. Night 2 saw further victory with a win in the fifteen-man Copa Bardahl.

Penta

A Raw star connected to AAA well before signing with WWE, it’s not a surprise that he has returned to the company.

Rey Fenix

Another lucha star with ties to AAA prior to signing with WWE, Rey Fenix is a member of the SmackDown roster.

The current AAA World Cruiserweight Champion, Fenix retained in a Fatal Four Way match at Triplemania 34 Night 2, defeating Jack Cartwheel, Mini Vikingo and Nathan Frazer.

Rey Mysterio

A member of the WWE Raw roster, the Hall of Famer is also the AAA general manager and competed at Triplemania 34, losing to Omos on Night 1.

Roxanne Perez

Victorious in the AAA Reina de Reinas number one contendership Fatal Four-Way, the WWE Raw star is also a member of Judgment Day and heads to Worlds Collide on September 26 to face La Catalina.

It Doesn’t Stop There, Either

NXT stars Karmen Petrovic and Elio LeFleur have also competed in AAA, while Liv Morgan has found her way onto screens via her connection with Dominik Mysterio.

Lince Dorado returned to WWE in 2025 as a trainer in the Performance Center and has competed in AAA, as well as popping up on NXT and Evolve.

Then there’s the only WWE star to change character in AAA, with NXT’s Drake Morreaux performing as El Carnicero.

Under the Rayo Americano mask, Pete Dunne can be found, with his skills being used not only in the ring but as a producer in AAA.

Being a fixture in AAA is one thing, but WWE has also deployed main roster stars on a one-off, to date, basis, including Finn Balor and Bayley, with more no doubt likely to follow.

Also worth mentioning is Chad Gable, whose run as The Original El Grande Americano culminated in May, and will likely see him return to AAA as Gable somewhere down the line.
