Royce Keys & OTM WWE Faction Name Revealed

The stable name for the new alliance between Royce Keys and OTM that debuted on this week’s WWE Raw has been revealed.

To close out this week’s WWE Raw, a new faction debuted by attacking the Usos, Solo Sikoa and LA Knight, that being the returning Royce Keys and the debuting Bronco Nima and Lucien Price of OTM from NXT.

The group laid waste to all four men, with Michael Cole mentioning on commentary that Keys and OTM had stories from ‘the hood in Oakland’.

WWE Trademarks ‘946’ For Royce Keys & OTM

Today, it was revealed that WWE had filed the trademark for the term ‘946’ for use in professional wrestling.

False Finish has confirmed that the name will be used for the group, with ‘946’ being a reference to a zip code from Oakland, California, the very place Cole made sure to mention during the group’s debut on Raw.

The trademark description reads:

IC 041: Entertainment services, namely, wrestling exhibitions and performances by a professional wrestler and entertainer rendered live and through broadcast media including television and radio, and via the internet or commercial online service; providing wrestling news and information via a global computer network; providing information in the fields of sports and entertainment via an online community portal; providing a website in the field of sports entertainment information; fan club services, namely, organizing sporting events in the field of wrestling for wrestling fan club members; organizing social entertainment events for entertainment purposes for wrestling fan club members; providing online newsletters in the fields of sports entertainment; online journals, namely blogs, in the field of sports entertainment.

Are 946 WWE’s Next Big Trio?

Over the years, WWE has had a number of major trios on television, from the Shield to the New Day to the Wyatt Family, with 946 hoping to be the next best trio.

Royce Keys has shown a lot of potential since he arrived in WWE earlier this year, with him rubbing shoulders with names like the Bloodline in short order after winning the Andre the Giant Memorial Battle Royal.

Keys instantly showed more character in one night this week on Raw than he has the past six months as a babyface, with the group already off to a hot start after a major debut on this week’s show.
