NJPW Star Callum Newman AEW All In London 2026 Plans Revealed

A major update has emerged on NJPW star Callum Newman’s status for AEW All In London, which takes place at Wembley Stadium on August 30.

Tomorrow night will be a big one for Will Ospreay, who is set to challenge for Kenny Omega’s AEW World Championship in his home country.

With Ospreay’s previous ties to the United Empire faction and recent online comments, there has been some speculation about the possibility of Ospreay’s former protege Callum Newman appearing at the Wembley Stadium show.

The NJPW star came face to face with Will Ospreay sooner than fans expected, with Ospreay making a surprise appearance at Saturday’s (August 29) RevPro 14 Year Anniversary Show at Wembley Arena.

Ospreay was revealed to be Newman, Joe Lando, Maverick Mayhew and Danny Black’s mystery tag-team partner, with the team scoring a victory over Kieron Lacey, Mark Trew, Sha Samuels, Will Kaven and Ricky Knight Jr in ten man tag-team action.

Following the match, Will Ospreay asked Callum Newman to be in his corner at All In London for his championship match against Kenny Omega.

Newman didn’t verbally respond to Ospreay’s request, with the NJPW star dropping the microphone and turning to leave.

He ultimately turned back around and hugged Ospreay, indicating that he will be in Wembley Stadium on Sunday night.

Newman will be returning the favor, with Ospreay notably returning to NJPW for Sakura Genesis in April, to watch his former protege dethrone Yota Tsuji to become the youngest IWGP Heavyweight Champion in history.

Following this, Newman made his AEW debut, teaming with Ospreay and United Empire teammates Francesco Akira and HENARE to defeat Jon Moxley, Pac, Claudio Castagnoli and Daniel Garcia of the Death Riders on the April 8 Dynamite episode.

Ospreay and Newman have had a rocky relationship since then, with Newman often criticising Ospreay for his affiliation with the Death Riders which emerged in the wake of this match.

The AEW star has referenced Newman’s career in social media comments too, stating that Newman had a big problem on his hands following an attack at the hands of Jeff Cobb during his NJPW return.

It will be interesting to see how Newman’s presence affects the AEW World Championship match, considering many had already speculated that he’d interfere, even before he was invited to be in Ospreay’s corner.
