WWE Raw August 31 Spoilers: Roman Reigns Next Challenger Confirmed, Absent Star Returns & More

The August 31 episode of WWE Raw was taped last night (August 28) from the Rocket Arena in Cleveland, Ohio, with full spoilers now emerging from the show.

With the August 28 episode of Friday Night SmackDown pre-taped on Monday (August 24) from Ottawa, Canada, WWE held another double taping of next week’s Raw & SmackDown last night in Cleveland.

The show was headlined by the final of the World Heavyweight Title tournament between brothers Penta & Rey Fenix. The winner of that match will be challenging Roman Reigns for his title in Mexico City on the August 14 episode of WWE Raw.

That wasn’t all that happened during the Raw taping however, as Reigns also made an appearance on the show, an absent WWE star made their return to action, a number one contender’s match took place, and we saw the fallout from Royce Keys and OTM’s attack on The Bloodline, LA Knight and Solo Sikoa last week.
