AEW Star Announces Pregnancy

An AEW star who is a former WWE Women’s Tag Team Champion has announced that they are expecting a new addition to their family.

Known to WWE fans as one half of The IIconics, the star previously known as Billie Kay has seen a shift to TNA Wrestling, AEW and Tokyo Joshi Pro-Wrestling since her release in April 2021.

Last in action on the June 9 ROH Youtube Special episode 9, a reason for the star now known as Jessica McKay’s absence has seemingly been revealed.

In a post shared on Instagram, McKay revealed that she is four months pregnant, writing:

“4 months of growing you baby girl & a lifetime of loving you”

The post was accompanied by a short video, showcasing photos of McKay on her at regular intervals until week sixteen of the pregnancy.

McKay has one child, named Cooper, who was born on December 20, 2023.

The IInspiration were last seen in AEW back in March of this year, with McKay and Cassie Lee teaming up in a loss to The Brawling Birds (Alex Windsor & Jamie Hayter) in just over 1m 30 seconds.

Their ROH history has seen more success, with two victories against three losses. The IInspiration saw wins over Frankie B & Viva Van on April 9, and B3CCA & Madi Maxx on April 30.

A History-Making Tag Team

Signed to WWE contracts back in 2015, the stars who would become known as Peyton Royce and Billie Kay would move through NXT, being called up to the main roster in April 2018.

Eventually becoming WWE World Tag Team Champions at WrestleMania 35 in April 2019, the stars would be a thorn in the side of many rivals until their release just two years later due to budget cuts.

Heading to TNA Wrestling for the first time in 2021, the pair would depart the following year, stepping away from the wrestling world. A return would follow in June 2025,. with The IInspiration becoming two-time Knockouts World Tag Team Champions.

Further championship success would follow in TJPW, with The IInspiration becoming Princess Tag Team Champions, making them the first duo to have held women’s tag team titles in WWE, TNA and Tokyo Joshi Pro-Wrestling.

Currently signed under contracts with AEW since February of this year, The IInspiration are yet to capture a championship in AEW or ROH.
