‘He’s A Better Talker Than 90% Of The Guys On Main Roster’ – Bully Ray Pitches Former WWE Star Return To The Company

Following the recent return of Big Cass to WWE, Bully Ray has pitched for Enzo Amore to also be brought back to the company.

After vignettes aired on WWE TV throughout July, Big Cass made his return to WWE on the August 3 episode of Monday Night Raw.

Cass’ WWE comeback after an eight year absence has, thus far, been as a singles act, rather than alongside former WWE tag team partner Enzo Amore; despite reports in May suggesting that Enzo could also be returning to the company.

With Cass picking up his first win of his current WWE run on this past Monday’s Raw over Je’Von Evans, Bully Ray discussed the match and the possibility of a reunion with Enzo on Busted Open.

While he shared support for Cass and his solo run in WWE, Bully believes he and Enzo are stronger together than they are apart; pointing towards how over the pair were in WWE when they made their main roster debut in 2016.

Bully Ray said:

“From the minute that we saw that first vignette for Big Cass, what did everybody start talking about? Enzo.

“Enzo no doubt was the personality in the group, and we weren’t just talking about Big Cass returning on his own, it was Enzo and Cass, Enzo and Cass. And then we heard rumblings on social media, whispers that Enzo might be down at the PC or Enzo might be ready to come back.

“I believe those two guys together are a stronger act than apart. Standing in the middle of the ring night one (for Enzo & Cass WWE Raw debut) and seeing how over – in my opinion Enzo and Cass: the most over original NXT act that was ever created in WWE…

“How can you be that over on the main roster night number one? It’s not like you made your name in WCW, or AJ (Styles) in New Japan, you weren’t Goldberg, you weren’t AJ Styles, you were an NXT act and people recited your schtick as if they came out and said ‘Oh you didn’t know?’

“I still want Cass to be given more opportunities to get over on his own, because if he can, WWE could use one of those traditional big men. He’s seven feet tall, you can’t teach that. If it doesn’t work, I always think in case of emergency you can break glass and call Enzo in.”

Discussing Enzo specifically, Bully stated his belief that the former Cruiserweight Champion is still a better talker than 90% of WWE’s current stars on the main roster:

“I think Enzo got a very, very, very bad rap years ago when that situation happened with him. I think Enzo has done a phenomenal job on his own, grinding, humping the indies, doing everything he can to keep his name out there – the use of social media – and as we both know, the guy can talk.

“And as of right now this very moment where he’s probably in Asbury Park or Hoboken, New Jersey, he’s a better talker right now – with only social media exposure – than 90% of the guys on the main roster.”

Enzo Amore and Big Cass were both released by WWE in 2018. While Cass was signed to both TNA Wrestling, and later AEW, Enzo Amore has remained a freelancer and has worked in promotions such as MLW, House of Glory and 4th Rope Wrestling.
