Absent AEW Stars Win Championship Ahead Of All In London

Two absent AEW stars were in action ahead of tomorrow night’s All In London show, with them capturing a championship.

Back at AEW Double or Nothing in May, Adam Copeland and Christian Cage finally captured the AEW World Tag Team Championship for the first time, defeating FTR to bring an end to their months long rivalry.

After FTR’s defeat in the I Quit match at Double or Nothing, they have been absent from AEW television, with Dax Harwood noting that they were going to take some time away, leading to speculation about their future.

FTR Win Undisputed British Tag Team Championship

While Dax Harwood and Cash Wheeler have not been appearing on AEW television, and are not advertised for tomorrow night’s All In London event, they have made their return to in-ring at recent independent events.

Ahead of AEW All In London, FTR were in action at tonight’s RevPro 14th Anniversary show, where they faced off against the Cowboy Way duo of 1 Called Manders and Thomas Shire for RevPro Undisputed British Tag Team Championship.

FTR would pick up the win, capturing the titles for the first time in their career.

Will FTR Return At AEW All In London?

For the months ahead of All In, many fans had speculated that the match at the show for the AEW World Tag Team Championship would be a three-way between Cope and Cage, the Young Bucks and FTR, potentially in a Ladder match.

While that is not the case, and the match will simply be Cope and Cage against the Bucks in a standard tag team encounter, FTR may end up making their return after the match to set up the previously speculated three-way at All Out next month.

Of course, FTR aren’t the only team we could see join the fray, as the Motor City Machine Guns recently signed with AEW, as well as the seemingly impending debut of Kofi Kingston and Xavier Woods after the former members of the New Day left WWE back in April.

With how many teams AEW currently has access to, FTR rejoining the division would add yet another major team to a stacked roster, with even more lesser established tag teams looking to climb the ranks, including the Rascalz and the Dogs.
