Former TNA Wrestling Stars To Join WWE

There have been several former TNA Wrestling stars who have signed with WWE over the past few years.

From Joe Hendry and Jordynne Grace to Matt Cardona and Chelsea Green, these names have played major and significant roles on WWE TV in recent years.

Looking at the crop of talent that has left the promotion or has their contract expiring soon, there are quite a few former TNA Wrestling stars who could be next to make the jump to the biggest promotion in wrestling.

Here are seven former TNA Wrestling stars to potentially join WWE.

7. Eric Young

To the surprise of many fans, Eric Young announced his departure from TNA Wrestling after requesting and being granted his release.

Young is one of the most tenured and decorated stars in the history of the company and someone who has made his name in the business in the promotion.

After finishing up his third stint with TNA Wrestling, it seems like EY might be heading back to WWE according to recent reports.

Whether it be in a player-coach role or as an in-ring performer, Young has so much he can still offer at this stage of his career to WWE on the NXT brand or the main roster.

6. Myla Grace

Another recent TNA Wrestling release that has recently exited the promotion is Myla Grace.

Signing with TNA in May 2025, Grace was seen as a female star who could be one of the future building blocks of the Knockouts division.

The Ireland native has the look, skill and ability to achieve much more than what was offered to her in TNA over the past year and could see Grace make her way to WWE next.

Grace becoming the newest WWE NXT star would be interesting to see how she matches up with the fledgling women’s division on Tuesday nights.

5. Dani Luna

After spending over two years with the company, Dani Luna departed TNA Wrestling after being granted her release.

Now a free agent, Luna can continue to be a premier talent on the independent scene where she has truly shined over the past few years.

However, Luna’s improvement could catch the attention of WWE and make this free agency period a brief one.

Luna re-signing with WWE would put her in a better position than her first stint in the company after seeing what she has accomplished outside of their promotion.

4. Sinner & Saint (Judas Icarus & Travis Williams)

The latest TNA Wrestling departure saw Sinner and Saint being granted their release from the company.

Judas Icarus and Travis Williams looked to be future champions in the tag team division when they signed with the promotion in 2024.

Considering everything they have done on the independent scene, Sinner and Saint were more deserving of a bigger push during their time in TNA.

Icarus and Williams could help to further bolster the ranks of the NXT tag team division where they can mix it up with The Vanity Project, OTM and DarkState.

3. Steve Maclin

One of the most surprising TNA Wrestling releases in recent months saw Steve Maclin leaving the company after five years with the promotion.

The former TNA World Champion had become one of the faces of the company and a cornerstone in every way.

From his memorable in-ring bouts to being an ambassador for the promotion, Maclin did everything to prove his value to TNA and the entire wrestling industry.

After spending over seven years with WWE in his first run, Maclin could come back to the company in a better spot after improving every part of his game over the past five years.

2. Tessa Blanchard

At the tail end of 2024, the wrestling world was shocked to see TNA Wrestling re-signing Tessa Blanchard after four years away from the company.

Following the controversy surrounding her actions and exit from the promotion, many fans saw this move as a risk for TNA, but Blanchard became a regular part of the company’s programming.

However, Blanchard decided to leave TNA after being given an ultimatum to choose between the company and her other home promotion, CMLL in Mexico.

While she is happy with CMLL, it has always felt like Tessa Blanchard will one day find herself in WWE where the lineage from her father Tully Blanchard could work in her favor to becoming a prominent star in the women’s scene.

1. Mike Santana

It has become no secret that Mike Santana is almost certain to be heading to WWE after impressing management with his appearances during the TNA Wrestling partnership.

At TNA Slammiversary 2026, Santana dropped the TNA World Title to Nic Nemeth. Following this loss, it was revealed that Santana had finished up his time with the company and was expected to head to WWE.

Considering everything he was able to accomplish in TNA over the past two years, Santana has a bright future ahead of him in WWE where he can be highlighted for his strong in-ring ability and talking ability.

Whether it be starting on WWE NXT or heading straight to the main roster, Santana feels like someone the company is ready to invest in long term and make a standout on the roster moving forward.
