It’s no surprise to say that Brian Cage won his match in Australia.
The biggest surprise of this match was the quality, which surpassed what we are used to when we get a match taped outside of Impact. I’m always a little nervous when they announce that will be the case, because often the ring doesn’t feel well-lit, and the camera quality usually suffers along with it.
The match was fine, but nothing unexpected. Brian Cage is obviously just smashing it right now. I’m a big fan, but they do need to start doing something with him if they want to hold my interest. Squash matches are only fun up until they aren’t.
