Oba Femi New WWE Tag Team Partner

After being beaten down by The Vision at Sunday Night’s Main Event and WWE Raw, it’s clear that even a superstar as dominant as Oba Femi could benefit from having an ally or two.

With the The Vision rubbing more than a few WWE stars the wrong way over the past year or so, ‘The Ruler’ shouldn’t have too far to look for some help, and he may also find a tag partner in the process.

Here are three new potential Oba Femi tag team partners in WWE.

Otis

The most clear and obvious candidate to align with Oba Femi right now is the Alpha Academy’s Otis.

While Akira Tozawa could also take this spot, The Vision’s numbers advantage means Oba Femi should be looking for someone with the strength of more than one man, and that certainly would be Otis.

Otis and Femi have tangled in the ring before, so there should be a mutual respect there. They also both have ongoing issues with The Vision, so it makes sense for them to align together and attempt to take down the group.

Seth Rollins

The Vision’s original leader Seth Rollins returned to the ring for the first time since SummerSlam during WWE’s live event in Ecuador on Wednesday, September 9, so we should soon be seeing him back in the mix on Monday Night Raw also.

What isn’t clear is what Rollins will be focusing on when he comes back having already rubber stamped his feuds with both The Vision and Roman Reigns.

While fans will likely not be in a rush to see Rollins tangle with his old faction again, when it comes to logical allies for Oba Femi, Rollins would be someone the Nigerian could turn to.

Not only have the pair teamed together on WWE live events, but Rollins knows the group inside and out, so he could certainly provide Femi with the best strategy to take them down.

Tony D’Angelo

Looking beyond the Raw roster, an outside pick as a potentially ally for Oba Femi could be the man who defeated him twice down in NXT: Tony D’Angelo.

D’Angelo, Ricky Saints and Brock Lesnar stand as the only three men to have defeated Femi one-on-one since his WWE career truly got off the ground in late 2023.

While WWE have not mentioned D’Angelo and Saints’ triumphs over Femi, and likely never will, it shouldn’t be ignored despite how dominant ‘The Ruler’ is being booked on main roster.

D’Angelo has been waiting on that WWE main roster call-up for five years, and having him brought up as Femi’s tag team partner of choice would certainly be an impactful way to debut the former ‘Don of NXT.’
