Same-night cash-in plans for WWE Money in the Bank 2026: October 10 could be a career-changing night for one of this year’s winners

Throughout the 21 year history of WWE’s Money in the Bank concept, there has only been six cash-in attempts on the very same night a star has won their briefcase.

Five of those six have been successful, with the latest attempt from Drew McIntyre in 2024 being the only one to fall flat.

The idea rightfully hasn’t been done every year; as much of the enjoyment of Money in the Bank is in the anticipation of when a star will seize their opportunity and surprise the champion of their choosing.

However, when looking at the line-up for this year’s Money in the Bank ladder matches, and those who still may yet qualify, there are certainly more than a few tantalizing opportunities for a same-night cash-in at WWE’s fingertips.

Here are three stars who could win Money in the Bank and cash it in on the same night on October 10:

Roxanne Perez

If Liv Morgan was still holding the Women’s World Championship right now, then a Roxanne Perez same-night Money in the Bank cash-in would certainly feel like a very real possibility.

Not to say it couldn’t still happen however, despite Stephanie Vaquer now being the champion, a title defense against Morgan and Becky Lynch at Money in the Bank seems likely given their three-way feud.

Morgan winning back her gold with help from Roxanne Perez, only for her Judgment Day stablemate to cash-in on her immediately would make for one of the most memorable women’s Money in the Bank cash-ins of all time, and begin the downfall of The Judgment Day once and for all.

Tiffany Stratton

While she’s yet to qualify for the Money in the Bank yet, Tiffany Stratton did inform her friend Chelsea Green that she would be involved in a qualifier at a yet to be confirmed date.

Although it was initially Green who was begging to be Stratton’s friend, it is the latter who has taken a back seat in recent months as Chelsea has ascended to the top of the women’s division as the new Interim WWE Women’s Champion.

Stratton has been very supportive of her friend in this climb, however, the partnership has only really been at the detriment of Stratton’s own career. In her attempts to protect Green during her recent period of injury, Stratton lost the Women’s United States Championship and suffered several beatdowns from The Irresistible Forces.

We don’t know if Green will be involved in Money in the Bank, but she could very well be at ringside to cheer Tiffany on in her Money in the Bank ladder match. Should Stratton win, the post-match celebrations could be turned sour when the new Ms. Money in the Bank blindsides Green and immediately cashes-in her opportunity.

Bron Breakker

It certainly wouldn’t be ideal to see WWE book another failed same-night cash-in, only two years after the last, but there is an opportunity to do so with Bron Breakker should they want to.

With Breakker embroiled in a feud with Oba Femi, we could see ‘The Ruler’ thwart his rival’s cash-in attempt on Roman Reigns after or during his World Heavyweight Title defense against LA Knight.

It would certainly be a waste of the briefcase and potentially do a lot of damage to Breakker’s career, but hey, is that enough for WWE not to do it? The company does have a history of not valuing the Money in the Bank, so it certainly wouldn’t be a surprise.
