AEW’s penultimate pay-per-view offering of 2023 is almost here as the fifth annual Full Gear emanates from Inglewood, California’s KIA Forum on Saturday, November 18.
This year’s event sees MJF look to finally reclaim his own AEW World Title against ‘Switchblade’ Jay White in the main event, with five additional championships set to be defended.
Unlike other AEW PPVs the card currently sits at nine matches total, however, this is being written prior to AEW Collision on Friday November 17, so forgive us if there are any late additions to the line-up.
These are our predicted winners for all nine matches confirmed for Full Gear, with betting odds provided by SkyBet and correct as of 09:45 ET Friday, November 17.
Zero Hour – ROH World Tag Team Championships – MJF (c) & ??? VS. The Gunns
Despite soundly dispatching both Vincent and Dutch of The Righteous at WrestleDream on his own, at Full Gear the AEW World Champion most certainly needs a partner.
While MJF seemingly has no friends left on hand, the continued offer of help from Samoa Joe is almost certainly going to be accepted for this one, despite Max’s reservations or Joe’s ulterior motives.
If this turns out not to happen, despite the signalling from AEW then one would imagine a defeat would be all but certain for MJF, with The Gunns unlikely to be defeated in as embarrassing manner as The Righteous was.
So, I’d expect MJF and Joe to get the win here, adding an interesting dynamic to a possible AEW World Title showdown at AEW World’s End.
Prediction: MJF & ???
Betting Favorite: The Gunns (The Gunns 4/7 MJF & ??? 5/4)
